THE DARKEST HOUR - Trailer

THE DARKEST HOUR -- from the "Summit" people, who gave the world young people fooling around with the horror / vampire/ werewolf  genre, now offer up young people messing around in the world of sci-fi and aliens. In this flick, five young people, stranded in Moscow, fight to survive an alien attack. This flick falls within the action-thriller genre, is in 3D,  the emphasis is on special effects.  IMHO,  3-D exists for only one reason, to swipe extra dollars from  movie patrons pockets. Judging by this trailer, my humble opinion seemed to be well founded. Directed by Chris Gorak, starring, Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby, Max Minghella, Rachael Taylor, the movie is scheduled for release in theaters on Christmas Day. Judging from this trailer, I wouldn't rush to the theater to see it.
