| Here comes a franchise? Probably? "Tucker & Dale vs Evil," danced at Sundance and trotted its stuff at other Indy film festivals. It has a good premise: A horror flick spoof of gory, blood fest fright porn. Two good-spirited friends on vacation are mistaken by know-it-all-college students, no doubt raised on horror movies, as killer rednecks, and the students, whose fav professor must be Wes Craven, get their necks broken, head busted, whatever, trying to stop what? Anyhow, judging from the trailer, this might be a funny movie. The movie was directed by Eli Craig, and stars Tyler Labine, Alan Tudyk, Katrina Bowden, Jesse Moss. Flick scheduled to open September 30, 2011 |
