All things Poe are on the rise. There is a new fictional TV series of Poe as a Boston detective about to be aired. There's a big budget movie coming in which the fictional Poe links up with his good buddy Abe Lincoln and they go vampire hunting. Here is the trailer for a fictional tale of the last days of Edgar Allan Poe's life. A true account of Poe's last days suggests that maybe some spooky and creepy, unexplained stuff happened to him that caused him to check out early. He was barely forty when he kicked the bucket. In this flick, Poe is after a serial killer whose murders mirror those in his stories. The film is scheduled for release on March 9th, 2012. It stars John Cusack, Alice Eve, Luke Evans. The director is James McTeigue.
