The Machine Trailer 2014

The Machine Theatrical TRAILER (2014) - Sci-Fi Thriller HD

Director: Caradog W. James. Cast: Caity Lotz, Toby Stephens, Sam Hazeldine, Denis Lawson, Lee Nicholas Harris, Stuart Matthews, Helen Griffin.

Plot Summary: In the near future, in a world suffering from the heat of another cold war, and with military-industrial-tech-complexes seeking any advantage over their competitors, the British develops a robotic soldier, a fighting machine, named, what else -- "The Machine," a female who looks and sounds human, but has super human strength and speed. And ruthlessness too -- if the latter's possible. A bug in the programming, code too close to human coding, produces a side effect, self-awareness, consciousness, which causes the Machine to turn extremely violent, and to destroy everything and one its path. Well, she's no Frankenstein's monster, because he was just a misunderstood sad bloke with a homey face, and wasn't evil at all. She has a hottie's bod. You can credit her creator for that, and you can credit teenage boys, the targeted audience for this flick. Anyway, she's not misunderstood. She makes herself perfectly clear. And judging by her manners and demeanor, she could be the Terminator's younger sister. The hero, the lead scientist, following in the tradition of Doctor Frankenstein, in several interpretations of the original source material and in the re-makes of the 1930s film, is not discouraged by this set back. With the assistance of an artificial intelligence expert, he sallies forth, like a bold knight of science-adventure to harness the full potential of the Machine. Yea-Hoo!
